Things I Don't Get

To steal a title from my good friend at jetsetcarina.blogspot.com, I don't get:

Dogs.

Seriously. They drool.

They're needy.

I also don't get this, but that's not the dog's fault.

But this I seriously don't get. I watched a guy jogging with his dog this morning, stop while the dog pooped, then pick up the poop in a plastic sack and continue to jog with the bag of poop. Now, I'm all for removing your canine feces from innocent grass, but jog with poop? Are you kidding me?

Yuck! Not being an animal lover myself, I don't get any of this treating your dog like it's a baby or something. Kudos to the man for cleaning up the mess, but yuck!

I wrote this post a while ago and I don't think anyone got my poop joke, I am sure you will:

and then I wrote this one about walking my pet humans.

I don't think you were reading my blog way back then, so read up my friend.

I don't get dogs that are treated like humans either. I have all of these neighbors with dogs. Most of them have kids too. We live in townhomes. One family has a huge German Shepard. The parents work all day and guess where the dog is? Locked up in the kitchen. Behind a baby gate. He is HUGE and their kitchen is like 10 feet by 10 feet.

And the other neighbor is out walking his dog to go to the bathroom no joke 5-7 times a day.

I could tell you more, but I will stop. I can understand some things about people wanting dogs but I don't understand A LOT.
